Fit for Life

Trish & Chris Powell
Fit
for life, takes the holistic approach to wellbeing, health and life style.
Here you will
find information on a fit for life diet,
exercise, nutrition, spiritual guidance, meditation and a whole lot more, all to
do with how to live a more rewarding and vital life. It will help you to
look younger and live a healthier life, in short, be fit for life.
It is not meant to be the complete answer nor all there is to know on each
subject. Far from it. This is about letting you know that the body
as a whole has to be treated, and how each part inter-relates.

Quite simply,
Holistic is derived from the Greek word holos, meaning whole. By treating the body as a whole we include the
spiritual and emotional aspects of ourselves, which are just as important as our
physical self.
We are not about
alternative medicine, but more to show that to have good health and wellbeing,
many different aspects come into play and must all be treated as part of the
whole to be fit for life.

Use
the navigation buttons at the left of each page, or you can
click on any links to go to what might be of interest to you.
We have not
filled this site with articles or fluff from other authors, each page was
researched and written by Trish in an attempt to give an overall picture
to health and wellbeing, or how to become fir for life.

Fit for Life is not a new age,
touchy feely site. As with our coaching, we do not pull punches, if you need to
loose weight we say so! If you are a smoker then there is no way you can
be fit for life. We do not agree with vegetarians, meat is an important
part of our diet, (did you know that red meat is the richest source of
alpha-lipoic acid which is a special type of antioxidant. It not only
helps deactivate an unusually wide range of free radicals, it also helps
vitamins C and E become much more effective) and the same goes for dairy products and salt. You must
embrace the whole spectrum of foods to be truly healthy. Balance is what
it is all about.

If you need advice or have a
suggestion just drop us a line.
If you need help with anything in
your life then try Life Coaching, it
could be the push you are looking for.
Don't forget
though, that being fit for life is ALL
of these things, not just one part. Have fun, health without fun is not being fit
for life.

Choosing a Weight Loss
Programme
For anyone thinking of buying products or services related
to weight loss, here are a few simple guidelines to help you get the best value
and performance from your choice.
Lose Unwanted Kilos Weight loss isn't just about looking good, a healthy body weight is
crucial if you want to enjoy good health and longevity. A fit for life
diet encompasses more than just the food you eat, it becomes a way of
life.
Goal setting
Goal setting isn't something most people want to hear about. Typical
comments are “Why do I need to write it down when it's all my head?” Good
point, but think about it, how much other stuff is in your head, and how do you
juggle it all to keep it prioritized?
